Lost and Found, Veronica Weston

I'm 25 years old and I have a 5 year old son. I attended a Catholic church/school up to the fifth grade. As I grew I attended Baptist churches. I had received the Lord but didn't realize I was saved. A pastor had told me that if I didn't get baptized my son wouldn't go to heaven. I was upset.

My great-aunt and cousin attended the local church and would visit my mom to preach the gospel to her. I asked them questions and was invited to a Lord's Day meeting. I went to the meeting and felt at home within my being and was baptized. I learned about the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee (both loved and walked with the Lord). Through their ministry, I learned that I had a spirit and that my spirit was made to contain God. I learned there's only one God in the universe and that God is Triune (the Trinity). He is the Father, the Son, and the Spirit. As the Father He predestinated and chose me. As the Son He redeemed me; and as the Spirit He imparted His life into my spirit.

I also learned from their ministry that in Genesis man fell by eating from the forbidden tree of knowledge of good and evil. By man's eating the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the way to the Tree of Life was closed. Today Jesus Christ, by dying on the cross and bearing our sins, has re-opened the way to the Tree of Life which is God Himself. Now as the Spirit, 1 Corinthians 15:45b shows that all the riches of Christ can be experienced by His Spirit indwelling our spirit. This will usher in the New Jerusalem which is composed of believers matured in the life of God who express Him and only Him.

I can testify that my enjoyment of God in Christ Jesus as the Life-giving Spirit has been recovered in the local church.
